LAIRA BRIDGE, PLYMOUTH
4th September 2006

Laira Bridge was opened in 1887 and carried the LSWR branch to Turnchapel over the River Plym. The GWR also had running powers over the bridge in order to access their Yealmpton branch at Plymstock.
